Shieun Lee

Graduate Researcher

Shieun is a doctoral student in Health Behavior program in School of Public Health, Indiana University. She earned her Master of Public Health degree with the concentration of public health administration at IU in 2018. Before she entered IU graduate school, she worked for a multinational health and life insurance company. She is interested in learning and conducting research (1) to prevent youth from engaging in risky health behaviors, (2) to investigate the role of motivation processes in such an endeavor, (3) and to examine trajectories of youth's behavioral, socio-emotional, and physical health development in the context of multilevel interactions of peers, family, school, and larger community. Especially, her interests include opioid misuse and electronic nicotine delivery system, among adolescents and young adults. She aspires to be an influential researcher after she earns a PhD degree.
